Sirui Panorama Plate KS-55P

Sirui Panorama Plate KS-55P: Add smooth horizontal panning to your setup

Panoramic frames get a controlled horizontal sweep with the Sirui Panorama Plate KS-55P, a 360° panning plate for tripod setups. Its quick-release design makes it straightforward to attach or remove, and it adds a separate panning movement to a compatible ball head. Use it to pan across a landscape with the camera held vertically, or to make a horizontal sweep from another camera angle. Mounted on a 360° head, the KS-55P can also form part of a double panoramic head setup. The plate is compatible with Sirui KS-30 and KS-40 ball heads, so it’s a specific add-on for photographers using those heads who want more control over their panoramic movement. Its 55 mm diameter and 15 mm thickness keep the accessory compact on a tripod. For a setup where the head’s base is locked, the plate still allows flexible horizontal rotation.

On location

• 360° panning: Rotate the camera through a full horizontal circle for a broad panoramic sweep. The dedicated movement is useful when you want to pan independently of the ball head’s positioning.
• Quick-release design: The plate is made to unlock quickly, and it’s straightforward to install or remove. That makes it simple to add the panning function for a panorama and take the plate off when you’re finished.
• Works with Sirui KS-30 and KS-40: This plate is specified for those two Sirui ball heads. That model-specific compatibility makes it a clear match for owners of either head.
• 55 mm diameter, 15 mm thick: These dimensions give you a compact accessory to position above the tripod head. Its small profile is useful when keeping the added hardware close to the camera setup matters.
• Pan with the base locked: Horizontal rotation remains available even when the base is locked. This separates the panning movement from the head’s base, which is useful when composing a panorama from a chosen angle.
