SmallHD 17-1230 Lens Hood For Cine 13 Monitor
SmallHD 17-1230 Lens Hood For Cine 13 Monitor | Shade your Cine 13 screen
Its defining design choice is a hood intended for the SmallHD Cine 13 monitor, giving the screen a dedicated shade rather than adding a general-purpose accessory. That’s useful when bright surroundings make it harder to view a monitor clearly: the hood helps keep ambient light off the display. The SmallHD 17-1230 is a straightforward option for Cine 13 owners who need a more sheltered screen while monitoring at a bright edit desk or on location. It’s specifically named for the Cine 13, so its appeal is simple and focused: add a shade for that monitor when the viewing environment calls for one. There’s no need to treat it as a universal monitor hood; the product is identified for one particular model. If you’re choosing an accessory to help with bright light around your Cine 13 display, this is the purpose-built item to consider.
Specialist Note
Late-afternoon light is spilling across the monitor at an outdoor setup, and a screen shade earns its place. This SmallHD hood is named for the Cine 13, which makes it a focused accessory rather than a general monitor add-on. Use it when you need to view the Cine 13 in bright surroundings; keeping the hood in place helps shield the display from ambient light. The 17-1230 reference is handy when you’re matching the exact SmallHD accessory by name. I’d recommend it to Cine 13 users who regularly work where light hits the screen. Its stated fit is specific, so I wouldn’t assume it suits other monitors.
