SmallHD CBL-Eth-ARRI-R-Angle-39IN/1m ARRI Alexa Camera Control Cable Right Angle
SmallHD CBL-Eth-ARRI-R-Angle-39IN/1m ARRI Alexa Camera Control Cable Right Angle | A neater camera-control cable run
Keep a camera-control cable routed neatly on an ARRI Alexa rig with the SmallHD CBL-Eth-ARRI-R-Angle-39IN/1m ARRI Alexa Camera Control Cable Right Angle. It’s a 39-inch (1m) cable with a right-angle design, intended for camera control with ARRI Alexa cameras. That makes it relevant to camera operators and crew building a rig where a cable needs to follow the camera rather than jut straight out from its connection point. The right-angle form can help keep the route close to the rig, while the 1m length gives you a defined reach to work with. It’s a straightforward, purpose-specific accessory: choose it when its camera-control role, length and angled design suit the layout you’re assembling. As cable runs can affect how you arrange a rig, it’s worth planning the route around that one-metre reach rather than expecting extra slack.
Planning the cable run
Think about where the camera-control cable needs to travel before you settle the position of the connected equipment. The right-angle design is useful when a straight cable exit would protrude into the space you’re trying to keep clear. With 1m to work with, a short, direct route is the sensible plan; leave enough room for the cable to follow the rig without pulling tight. This is a specific cable for an ARRI Alexa camera-control setup, not a general-purpose cable description.
Specialist Note
A cable projecting straight out can become awkward when you’re keeping an ARRI Alexa rig compact; this right-angle version gives that run a lower-profile route. I’d consider it for a camera-control setup where the cable needs to follow the rig instead of sticking out into the working space. Its 39-inch (1m) length gives you a clear boundary for planning: position the connected equipment within reach, then route the cable without pulling it tight. The angled design is the detail that matters when space around the connection is limited. It won’t solve a setup that needs more than a metre of reach, so measure your intended route first.
