SmallRig 4087 NP-FZ100 Camera Battery Charger | A focused charger for NP-FZ100 batteries

When an NP-FZ100 battery needs charging between uses, a charger made for that battery type has a clear place in your setup. The SmallRig 4087 is a camera battery charger identified for NP-FZ100 batteries, so the key is matching that designation to the battery you want to charge. It suits photographers who use NP-FZ100 batteries and want a charger with a specific, easy-to-recognise purpose. Keep the model name in mind when sorting camera accessories or looking for this particular charger: “SmallRig 4087” identifies the product, while “NP-FZ100” points to the battery type it’s intended for. Its role is straightforward rather than universal. If your battery is marked NP-FZ100, this is the relevant charger to consider; if you need a charger for another battery type, this product name doesn’t indicate that it’s suitable.

Specialist Note

The “NP-FZ100” lettering in this charger’s name is the detail I’d keep in view: it gives you a clear match to look for on the battery itself. I’d use the SmallRig 4087 as the dedicated charger in a regular charging spot at home, then return an NP-FZ100 battery there after use so it’s ready for your next outing. It also makes sense as part of a simple battery rotation: charge the battery you’ve used before putting it back with your camera gear. The model number, 4087, is useful when you need to identify this exact SmallRig product. One limitation is clear from its name: it’s for NP-FZ100 batteries, not a general charger for every camera battery.
