SmallRig 5252 Top Handle w/ Two-In-ONE Locating Screw

SmallRig 5252 Top Handle w/ Two-IN-ONE Locating Screw | A dedicated grip point above your rig

Without a top handle, you have to hold a camera rig by its other available grip points. The SmallRig 5252 gives you a handle at the top, making it relevant to filmmakers who want to hold or guide a setup from above. Its name also calls out a Two-IN-ONE locating screw, a detail that helps distinguish this model when you’re comparing top handles. That’s the specific appeal here: a top handle paired with that named screw, rather than an accessory whose purpose is left vague. The product name doesn’t tell the whole story of fit, so treat the exact model name as important when choosing parts for a rig. It’s a straightforward item to consider if an overhead grip is what your setup needs.

A top handle changes where your hand meets the rig: instead of reaching around the side or underneath, you can hold it from above. That can be useful when lifting or guiding a setup by hand. The SmallRig 5252 is identified as a top handle, so that is the role to focus on when deciding if it belongs in your kit. It isn’t described here as a stabiliser or a support system; its stated identity is a handle.

The other identifying detail is the Two-IN-ONE locating screw. Keep that wording in mind when searching or comparing listings, since it’s part of this product’s name. We’d avoid assuming more about the screw from the name alone. If the grip point you’re looking for is above the rig, this SmallRig model is a clearly named option to consider. Check that the product name matches the part you intend to buy, rather than relying on a broad search for “camera handle.”
