SmallRig 6050 Chest Mount For DJI Osmo Pocket 4 / 3

SmallRig 6050 Chest Mount For DJI Osmo Pocket 4 / 3 | Film from chest level

What sets the SmallRig 6050 apart is its chest-mounted format: it gives you a way to position a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 or Osmo Pocket 3 at chest level while recording. It suits Pocket owners who want a hands-free point of view for activities where holding the camera isn’t practical. Think of it as a way to capture what’s in front of you while keeping your hands available for the task at hand. The appeal is direct, rather than technical: your camera sits on your chest instead of in your hand. If you’re after a chest-level viewpoint with one of the two named Osmo Pocket models, this is the purpose-built accessory to consider. It’s a specific solution, so its value depends on wanting that position, rather than simply adding another way to carry your camera.

Choosing a chest-level viewpoint

A chest-mounted camera changes the perspective of your recording. It can make sense when you want footage from your own point of view and would rather not hold the camera as you move or work. The viewpoint follows your upper body, so it’s suited to scenes where what you’re facing matters more than framing each shot by hand. That’s also the honest trade-off: a chest-level view is a particular look, and it won’t suit every kind of video. For a walk, a hands-on activity or a first-person recording, it offers a simple way to place the Osmo Pocket at your chest. If you usually prefer to compose each shot yourself, this accessory may see less use. Choose it for the viewpoint, not for extra camera functions.
