SmallRig 6068 Square UV Filter Kit For iPhone 17 Pro Max (Blue)
SmallRig 6068 Square UV Filter Kit For iPhone 17 Pro Max (Blue) | UV filtering in a square format
The square format is the defining detail here: this SmallRig kit brings a UV filter to the iPhone 17 Pro Max, rather than offering a general-purpose filter effect. It suits phone photographers who specifically want UV filtering as part of their setup, particularly for outdoor scenes in daylight. A UV filter is intended to filter ultraviolet light; it isn’t a tool for changing exposure or adding a strong colour effect. That makes this a focused accessory, not an all-round creative filter. The product name also gives you two quick identifiers when choosing: it’s made for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and it’s the blue version. If you’re comparing options, those details matter more than expecting a dramatic change to every image. Choose it for its stated UV-filter role and square format, and keep your expectations aligned with that specific job.
Specialist Note
The SmallRig 6068 Square UV Filter Kit for iPhone 17 Pro Max is made to add UV filtering in a square format to that phone’s camera setup. I’d point it out to an iPhone 17 Pro Max owner who wants this particular filter type for outdoor photography, rather than someone after a broad creative effect. The square shape is the practical distinction: it gives the setup a defined format, while the UV designation tells you what the filter is for. The blue version is easy to identify if you’re choosing by colour. I’d use it for daylight scenes where UV filtering is the aim, and wouldn’t buy it expecting a different exposure or a pronounced colour shift; that’s outside the job named here.
