SMDV Speedring For Speedbox-85 / 70 Dodecagon

SMDV Speedring For Speedbox-85 / 70 Dodecagon | Made for the named Speedbox

Softbox setups depend on a speedring that matches the modifier; this SMDV part is named for the Speedbox-85 / 70 Dodecagon. It’s a specific accessory, rather than a part described for softboxes in general. If you already have a Speedbox carrying this designation, the product name gives you a clear reference when choosing its speedring. When comparing listings, keep the full wording in view, including “Dodecagon”; those details help distinguish this item from products with similar names. I’d use the designation on your softbox as the first point of comparison, rather than choosing by brand alone. There’s no need to overcomplicate its appeal: this is the SMDV speedring identified for the Speedbox-85 / 70 Dodecagon. The useful thing is that the intended softbox name is right there in the product title.

Choosing by the product name

Read the title as a specific pairing: SMDV speedring, for Speedbox-85 / 70 Dodecagon. If that is the designation on your softbox, this is the named accessory to look at. If you’re shopping for a different modifier, don’t assume that a similar model number means the same part will suit it; compare the complete product name instead. That’s a simple check, but it helps keep the choice tied to the softbox you actually use. The title is also handy when searching for the item again: retain the “Dodecagon” wording so the search stays specific.
