STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve (14 inch) - Black Slate
STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve (14 inch) - Black Slate | A protective layer inside your bag
On a commute or between locations, a 14-inch item tucked into a larger bag can rub against other gear and pick up marks. The STM Goods STM Origin Sleeve is a protective pouch designed to help guard your gear against scratches and bumps while it travels inside another bag. It suits anyone who wants a separate layer around their 14-inch equipment without turning their whole carry setup into a dedicated case. The black-slate finish keeps the look restrained, so it sits quietly among your other kit. Think of this as an inner protective layer rather than a bag for carrying everything on its own. Put the item inside before loading your larger bag, and use the sleeve to create a buffer between it and loose accessories. If your main concern is scuffs or minor knocks during everyday transport, that’s the role this sleeve is designed to fill.
Specialist Note
The 14-inch sleeve shape gives your gear a defined place inside a bigger bag, which helps when you’re packing it alongside loose everyday items. I’d use it as a buffer for scratch-prone gear: slide the item into the pouch before adding cables or other accessories, rather than letting everything share one open compartment. Its protective purpose suits someone who wants extra separation without carrying a separate large bag. The honest limit is that this is a pouch, not a complete carry solution; pair it with a larger bag when you need room for the rest of your kit. The black-slate finish is a low-key option if you prefer unobtrusive accessories.
