Sunwayfoto L-Plaat / L-Bracket Arca Sony A7RVI w/ Grip (PSL-A7RVG)

Sunwayfoto L-Plaat / L-Bracket Arca Sony A7RVI w/ Grip (PSL-A7RVG) | Switch orientation while keeping your setup in place

This bracket combines an L-shaped plate with an Arca-style fitting, in a version named for the Sony A7RVI with grip. That makes it relevant to photographers using that camera configuration who want the familiar L-bracket arrangement for mounting their camera. An L-bracket gives you a mounting surface beneath the camera and another along its side, so you can change between horizontal and vertical framing without repositioning the camera on the support. It’s a straightforward bit of kit, but the side mounting position is the detail that matters when you make that change often. The product name identifies both the camera configuration and the Arca format, so its purpose is clear without needing a long list of claims. If you’re looking for an L-bracket for a different camera setup, this is a specifically named version rather than a general-purpose plate.

How the L-bracket is used

In landscape orientation, the camera sits on the bracket’s base. For portrait framing, the side section can be clamped instead, keeping the camera supported in the new orientation. That’s the practical reason to choose an L-bracket over a simple base plate: you can change framing orientation while leaving your support arrangement in place. The Arca designation tells you the fitting format this bracket is named for, while the grip reference identifies the camera setup it’s intended around. Together, those details make this a focused accessory for a specific camera configuration, rather than a plate presented as a fit for many bodies. For photographers who regularly switch between horizontal and vertical compositions, that L-shaped layout is the central benefit.
