Sunwayfoto PSL-A7RII - L-Plate Fot Sony A7RII
Sunwayfoto PSL-A7RII - L-Plate for Sony A7RII | Switch orientation while staying on your tripod
Portrait and landscape compositions are easier to move between when your Sony A7RII stays on its tripod. The Sunwayfoto PSL-A7RII is an L-plate made for that camera, so it’s a dedicated tripod accessory rather than a general-purpose plate. An L-plate lets you change the camera’s orientation while keeping it mounted, which is useful when you want to move from a wide landscape frame to a portrait composition without stopping to rethink your support setup. It suits Sony A7RII owners who regularly compose on a tripod and want a plate named for their camera. The appeal is simple: keep your attention on framing, and make the switch between orientations part of the setup rather than a separate task.
Specialist Note
II in A7RII identifies the specific camera this plate is named for, which is useful when you’re choosing an accessory for a particular body rather than a broadly described camera. As a tripod accessory, it’s for a setup where the camera is already supported and you want to change between landscape and portrait framing. I’d consider it for a carefully composed portrait or a landscape with a vertical crop: use the L-plate to change orientation, then refine the composition. The honest boundary is its named fit: this is for the Sony A7RII, not a general-purpose plate for other camera bodies.
