SWIT S-7200A S-7200A | Gold-Mount Battery Plate w/ Clamp For Tripod Mount
SWIT S-7200A | Mount a Gold-Mount battery on your tripod
Without a dedicated battery plate, your Gold-Mount battery and tripod-mounted setup can remain separate parts of the rig. The SWIT S-7200A brings them together: it’s a Gold-Mount battery plate with a clamp for tripod mounting. It suits camera operators and crews who want their battery mounting point to be part of a tripod setup, rather than treating it as a separate piece of the rig. Its most useful role is a straightforward one: providing a place for a Gold-Mount battery as you work with a tripod-mounted camera. That makes it relevant for a locked-off interview, a studio setup or another shot where the camera stays on its tripod. The S-7200A is a focused accessory, not a tripod or a general-purpose support. Choose it when the Gold-Mount battery format and tripod mounting are the specific needs you’re trying to address.
A focused addition to a tripod setup
Think of the S-7200A as a way to bring battery mounting into the tripod arrangement. It’s aimed at setups where that placement is useful while the camera remains tripod-mounted, rather than at operators looking for a different kind of tripod accessory. The result is a simple, specific job: a Gold-Mount battery plate with a clamp for tripod mounting.
Specialist Note
“Can I mount a Gold-Mount battery as part of my tripod setup?” Yes—that’s exactly the role of the S-7200A. The Gold-Mount plate gives you a place for that battery, while the clamp is there for tripod mounting, so the accessory makes sense when you want those two parts of the setup together. I’d consider it for a locked-off interview or a studio camera that stays on its tripod; plan the rig around the battery plate and tripod mount rather than expecting this part to act as a camera support. It’s a purpose-specific accessory, so its appeal really comes down to needing Gold-Mount battery placement on a tripod-mounted setup.
