Tilta ES-T22-SPB Quick Release Shoulder Pad Baseplate For Canon C400
Tilta ES-T22-SPB Quick Release Shoulder Pad Baseplate For Canon C400 | Support for handheld Canon C400 video
The defining feature of the Tilta ES-T22-SPB is its quick-release shoulder pad baseplate, made for the Canon C400. It’s a shoulder rig for handheld video work, giving you extra support when holding the camera for longer takes or moving between shots. That makes it especially relevant to C400 users who want a shoulder-supported setup rather than relying on their arms alone. The shoulder pad provides the point of support, while the quick-release design is intended to make it easier to separate the camera setup when you need to change how you’re working. Use it for handheld interviews, event coverage or other video situations where you need to keep the camera mobile but want more support than a bare handheld hold provides. It’s a focused rig for that job, rather than a general-purpose tripod.
Specialist Note
The Tilta ES-T22-SPB is built to give Canon C400 handheld video work shoulder support. The shoulder pad gives you a point of contact against your shoulder, which is useful when you’re holding a framing through a long interview answer or following action at an event. I’d settle the pad comfortably before recording, then keep your stance steady as you track the subject; that’s where this kind of support is most practical. Its quick-release design also suits a setup that sometimes needs to come apart between handheld sections. One thing to keep in mind: this is for supported handheld work, not a replacement for a tripod when you need a locked-off shot.
