Transcend Jetflash 890 128GB USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 Silver
Transcend JetFlash 890 128GB USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 Silver | Carry files between USB-C devices
Running short of room or having to send files to yourself just to move them between devices gets old quickly. The Transcend JetFlash 890 is a 128GB USB stick with a USB-C connection, made for keeping files close and moving them between devices with a matching port. Its USB 3.1 Gen 1 designation identifies the connection standard; it doesn’t tell you how quickly a particular transfer will finish, since that also depends on the devices and files involved. Use it for documents, photos or other files you want to carry or hand over, rather than relying on an online account or a cable between devices. The silver finish gives it a simple, easy-to-recognise look. It suits anyone whose everyday devices use USB-C and who wants a compact storage option for routine file transfers. If your device has a different port, this stick won’t plug into it directly.
Specialist Note
The USB-C plug won’t go straight into a USB-A socket, but for a USB-C setup that’s exactly what makes this JetFlash 890 convenient: there’s no need to hunt for a separate cable to connect it. Its 128GB capacity gives you room to keep a sizeable working folder together, so I’d use it for carrying a batch of project files or sharing photos in person. The USB 3.1 Gen 1 label tells you the connection generation, though I wouldn’t promise a particular transfer time without knowing the other device. If your files are spread across devices with different ports, plan for that connection difference; for matching USB-C ports, this is a straightforward pocket storage option.
