TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2.0 - APS-C - MFT-Mount - Silver
TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2.0 - APS-C - MFT-Mount - Silver | Go wide for landscapes and architecture
TTArtisan 7.5mm f/2.0 is an ultra-wide prime with a 111° angle of view, built for photographers using Micro Four Thirds cameras who want more of a scene in the frame. That expansive view is especially useful for landscape work, where foreground detail can lead the eye through a composition, and for architecture when you’re working in a confined space. It’s also suited to astrophotography, where its wide view helps include plenty of sky. The 7.5mm focal length gives you room to work with bold perspective: move closer to a foreground subject and it can feel prominent against the wider surroundings. This is an interchangeable lens with a manual focus approach, so it suits photographers who prefer to set focus themselves rather than rely on autofocus. The silver finish gives this version a distinctive look on your camera. If you’re after a lens for broad, immersive compositions rather than a natural-looking view, this TTArtisan offers a very wide perspective in a compact focal length.
Specialist Note
Blue hour settles over a city square, and the surrounding buildings begin to frame the last colour in the sky. For that kind of scene, I’d use the f/2 maximum aperture when the light is fading, especially for night-sky work where keeping exposure time down can help preserve star detail. Manual focus rewards a deliberate approach: focus carefully on a distant building edge or bright star, then compose your frame. On a Micro Four Thirds body, 7.5mm gives an equivalent field of view of 15mm, which is genuinely wide for architecture and sweeping landscapes. It suits photographers happy to take control of focus; for fast-moving subjects, manual focusing takes more patience.
