Ulanzi CLAW Quick Release Plate w/ Backpack-mount

Ulanzi CLAW Quick Release Plate w/ Backpack-mount | Move between backpack carry and tripod use

When you’re carrying your camera on a backpack and want a tripod accessory in the same setup, the Ulanzi CLAW Quick Release Plate w/ Backpack-mount is made for that crossover. It’s a tripod accessory that combines a quick-release plate with a backpack-mount element, giving it a specific role in a camera-carrying kit. This suits photographers who alternate between carrying their camera and setting it up on a tripod, rather than wanting a plate with no backpack connection. Its strongest appeal is that joined purpose: one product name covers both quick release and backpack mounting. If you’re choosing an accessory for a particular camera or bag, the title alone doesn’t establish which systems it fits, so don’t assume compatibility from the name. For a photographer whose setup already matches, it offers a focused way to bring backpack carry and tripod use into the same accessory choice.

How it fits your setup

The quick-release wording points to a role in changing how the camera is supported, while the backpack-mount wording makes carrying part of the intended use. That makes this a more specific pick than a general tripod accessory: it’s aimed at people who want their carrying setup and tripod setup considered together. Think of a day that includes walking with your camera, then stopping to compose a shot from a fixed position. The CLAW is relevant to that change of pace; it isn’t a tripod or a camera, but an accessory for your existing kit. Its value depends on whether the backpack-mount aspect suits your own carrying arrangement.
