Varta CR1220 3V NR.6220

Varta CR1220 3V NR.6220 | Compact lithium power for small devices

A camera that takes a CR1220 needs a compact 3V cell to keep it powered; the Varta CR1220 3V NR.6220 is a lithium button battery measuring 12.5 mm across and 2 mm high. It’s also used in watches and calculators, so this small cell serves several familiar kinds of electronics. Its slim, round shape is the key detail to match when you’re replacing a battery: the diameter and height distinguish this format from other button cells. The stated capacity is 35 mAh, giving you a useful figure to compare when identifying the same battery type. For a camera owner, the CR1220 designation is the starting point; the voltage and physical size are further details to compare with the battery required by the device. This is a specific battery format, rather than a general-purpose cell, so the printed type matters.

Key Features

• CR1220 format: The cell’s type designation identifies this particular button-battery format. It’s the most useful label to compare when selecting a replacement for a device that calls for a CR1220.
• 3V output: This battery is rated at 3 volts. That gives you a clear electrical specification to compare with the requirement for your camera, watch or calculator.
• 35 mAh capacity: The stated capacity is 35 milliamp-hours. This number provides a concrete point of reference when comparing batteries of the same type; it doesn’t, by itself, tell you how long a particular device will run.
• Lithium chemistry: The CR1220 uses lithium battery chemistry. That identifies the cell type, alongside its CR1220 format and 3V rating, when you’re matching the details of a replacement.
• 12.5 mm diameter, 2 mm height: The measured width and thickness make the cell’s small, flat proportions clear. Those dimensions are especially relevant for checking the physical format required by a compact camera or another small electronic device.
