Wooden Camera Preston MDR2 Mounting Plate
Wooden Camera Preston MDR2 Mounting Plate | A dedicated tripod accessory for the Preston MDR2
Without a dedicated mounting plate, adding a component to a tripod-based setup can mean improvising how it’s held in place. The Wooden Camera Preston MDR2 Mounting Plate is a specific accessory for a rig built around the Preston MDR2: its name identifies both the mounting-plate format and the unit it’s intended for. That makes it relevant to camera crews and operators organising a Preston MDR2 as part of a tripod setup, rather than shoppers looking for a general camera plate. Its role is practical and focused: provide a mounting plate for use with the named MDR2. If you’re keeping your rig centred on that unit, this is the accessory to consider for its tripod mounting needs. The product is listed as a tripod accessory, so it belongs with rig-mounting equipment, not as a standalone camera support. Wooden Camera is the maker named on the product, and Preston MDR2 is the model reference to keep in mind when choosing it.
Specialist Note
At the point in a tripod-based rig where the Preston MDR2 needs a mounting plate, I’d keep this Wooden Camera part in mind. The MDR2 reference in its name gives you a clear starting point for matching the accessory to that setup; it’s a focused option, rather than a general-purpose plate. As a tripod accessory, it’s suited to operators who want the named unit included in a tripod-mounted arrangement. I’d think of it for a fixed camera position or a rig that’s regularly set up on a tripod, where having a specific mounting part is useful. Its scope is narrow, which is also the honest caveat: it’s for the Preston MDR2 context, not a catch-all mounting solution.
