Wooden Camera Revolva Pass Through Top Plate (DSMC2)
Wooden Camera Revolva Pass Through Top Plate (DSMC2) | A focused top-plate accessory for tripod setups
Wooden Camera Revolva Pass Through Top Plate (DSMC2) is a wooden top plate with a pass-through design, intended for camera users building a DSMC2 setup around tripod work. It’s a tripod accessory, not a tripod itself, and its role is specific: a top-plate component in a camera rig. That makes it relevant to operators choosing individual parts for a dedicated setup, rather than looking for an all-in-one support solution. The product name gives you two clear identifiers when comparing rig components: its wooden construction and pass-through format. For a DSMC2 build, it’s a clearly named option to consider when a top plate is the part you need. Its appeal is focused on that particular role; the name doesn’t suggest a broader set of functions.
Specialist Note
During setup, this is the kind of part you choose for a defined place in the rig: the top plate in a tripod-based DSMC2 build. The wooden construction gives the component a distinct material identity, while “pass through” is part of its specific design name; I’d use those details to identify the right part when planning the rig, rather than assume extra functions from the wording. It suits operators assembling a DSMC2 camera setup for tripod work. One honest point: this is a focused accessory, so it makes sense when you need this top-plate role, not as a replacement for the tripod or the wider rig.
