Wooden Camera Zip Focus (15mm LW Rod Clamp Only)
Wooden Camera Zip Focus (15mm LW Rod Clamp Only) | 15mm LW rod clamp, sold on its own
Trying to complete a focus setup but only need its rod-clamp component? The Wooden Camera Zip Focus (15mm LW Rod Clamp Only) is a tripod accessory sold as the 15mm LW rod clamp on its own. That makes the scope clear: this listing is for the clamp component, not a complete Zip Focus package. It suits camera operators and rig builders who already know they need this particular part and want to keep a setup organized around 15mm LW rods. Its strongest use is a targeted purchase: when the clamp is the missing piece, you can choose the part named here rather than a broader accessory package. The key is matching the listing to the job in front of you. If you need more than the clamp, this product isn’t a complete focus system.
Specialist Note
“Is this the whole Zip Focus?” No—this is the 15mm LW rod clamp only, so I’d choose it when the clamp itself is what your rig needs, not as a complete focus package. The 15mm LW designation is the useful check: it tells you the rod format this part is named for, helping you keep a build consistent. I’d use it as the clamp component in a 15mm LW focus setup, then plan the rest of the focus equipment separately. It suits someone filling a specific gap in a rig. If you need a complete focus arrangement, this listing is too limited on its own.
