Sachtler SAC-3985 Adapter Accessory 1/4 3/8 M8

Sachtler SAC-3985 Adapter Accessory 1/4 3/8 M8 | A thread adapter for considered setups

When a camera support setup needs a threaded connection adapted, the Sachtler SAC-3985 Adapter Accessory gives you a specific part to consider. Its name identifies three thread markings: 1/4, 3/8 and M8. That makes it relevant when you’re planning a rig around one of those sizes and need an adapter in the assembly. The exact arrangement depends on the fittings in your setup, so it’s best to treat the listed sizes as the useful starting point rather than assume a particular direction or combination. For a camera operator or crew member putting together equipment with a threaded fixing point, that detail can help narrow down the part you need. It’s a small, practical item to identify by its model name and thread markings, rather than by appearance alone.

In a working kit, adapters are the parts you reach for when a connection detail affects how equipment can be assembled. The SAC-3985 is identified as an adapter accessory, with 1/4, 3/8 and M8 in its product name. Use those markings to compare the adapter with the connection points you’re working with; the names alone don’t establish a specific camera system or a particular mounting arrangement. That’s an honest limit, but it also keeps the choice grounded in what’s actually identified. If those thread sizes are relevant to your setup, this Sachtler part gives you a clearly named adapter to investigate for that job.
