"Equipping the World’s Storytellers, from Analog Roots to Digital Futures."

From Analog Roots to Digital Futures: Your Global Partner in Photography Since 2013.

Welcome to Hard to Find Camera Store, a global hub where heritage meets innovation. We provide photographers and videographers worldwide with a curated selection of gear, expert technical insight, and a creative home designed for the modern maker.

A Decade of Evolution

Our story is defined by a deep, hands-on connection to the craft. It began in 2013, when founder Rens Harzing started as a professional photographer. In 2017, that journey expanded into the world of brand strategy and marketing, providing the foundation for what would become a global community.

In 2020, Hard to Find Camera Store was born from a singular passion for rare, mechanical masterpieces. What started as a niche search for "hard to find" film cameras has since evolved into a full-service destination. Today, having sold over 25,000 cameras to creators in 60+ countries, we bridge the gap between 1950s analog soul and today’s high-performance digital cinema.

What We Offer: Beyond the Transaction

We don’t just sell equipment; we validate tools for your creative journey. Our 600m² headquarters at Westerblokker 23Aserves as the heart of our operations, housing a diverse inventory that ranges from entry-level classics to professional video rigs.

  • The HTF Standard: While absolute technical perfection in vintage gear is a myth, honesty is not. Every item undergoes a rigorous practical inspection. We check what matters: shutter accuracy, glass clarity, and sensor integrity.

  • A Full-Service Creative Hub: In addition to our global store, we offer a professional 65m² studio featuring a seamless infinity wall and pro-lighting, available for shoots, workshops, and community gatherings.

Education and the HTF Museum

We believe in preserving the history of photography while fueling its future. Our facility is home to a private archive of over 3,000 vintage cameras, which serves as the foundation for the HTF Photography Museum (Opening September 2026).

Through hands-on workshops, expert-led courses, and our growing global community, we empower creators to master both the chemical magic of film and the technical precision of digital media.
