Westcott Kreukvrije Background - Melk White (2.7 X 6.1m)

Westcott Kreukvrije Background - Melk White (2.7 X 6.1m) | A broad, clean white backdrop

The defining choice here is the 2.7 × 6.1 m size: it gives you a generous stretch of white background to work with, rather than a small patch behind your subject. Westcott calls it a crease-free background, and the Milk White colour keeps the look simple and neutral. It suits photographers who want a plain backdrop for portraits, product images or other studio work where the subject should take focus. The size is especially useful when you need more room around a subject or want to frame a wider scene. One honest point: a white background is a deliberate, uncomplicated look, so it won’t add texture or colour to a set. If that’s what you want, this is a straightforward option to build around.

Getting a clean white frame

With a background this large, think about the frame you’re making before you start shooting. A tighter crop can keep attention on a single product or portrait; a wider composition can show more of the white field around it. The 2.7 m width gives you a clear figure to plan around, while the 6.1 m measurement gives you the overall size to consider for your setup and storage space.

Milk White is a natural fit when you want the background to stay quiet and let colour, shape or expression carry the image. It can also give a set a consistent plain backdrop across different shots. The crease-free wording is part of the product name, so the main appeal is clear: a large white background intended to keep the scene visually simple. Keep the framing purposeful, and that simplicity can be exactly what the photograph needs.
