FlatHat 16 (40cm) Drone Pad - Gold Red
FlatHat 16 (40cm) Drone Pad - Gold Red | A clear landing target for your drone
FlatHat 16 (40cm) Drone Pad - Gold Red is a 40 cm drone pad that gives pilots a defined spot for take-offs and landings. It suits drone photographers and videographers who want a clear point to aim for when setting down between flights or returning from a low-level pass. The gold-and-red finish also gives you a coloured reference point against the surroundings, which can help you judge where to place the aircraft. Use it on a flat, open patch of ground and keep the intended landing area clear; the pad marks a target, rather than making uneven ground suitable for landing. Its 40 cm size makes the intended area easy to identify, while still asking you to bring the drone down with care and accuracy. This is a straightforward accessory for pilots who value a designated touchdown spot at their launch location. It doesn't replace choosing a safe landing area, but it can make that spot more deliberate.
Specialist Note
Drone photographers who make low passes over a subject will appreciate having a marked place to bring the aircraft back to. The 40 cm size gives you a defined target for take-off and landing; approach steadily and aim for the centre rather than treating the whole pad as spare room. Gold and red give the landing area a distinct colour reference, useful when you’re picking out your chosen spot before bringing the drone down. I’d use it for repeated take-offs from the same clear patch, or as a touchdown point after filming. One practical limit: a pad won’t level rough ground, so choose a flat surface first. It’s a simple, focused aid for keeping your landing point consistent.
