Kase International Magnetic Back Cap 67mm
Kase International Magnetic Back Cap 67mm | Keep your filter covered between uses
The magnetic attachment is what sets this back cap apart: it’s made to cover the rear of a 67mm filter without relying on a conventional push-on cap. It suits photographers who use filters of that size and want a simple way to cover one when it’s off the lens or packed away. The cap’s role is straightforward: help keep the filter’s rear surface covered during storage and between uses. That can be handy when you’re changing filters outdoors or putting a filter back in your bag after a shoot. The 67mm designation gives you a clear size to match against your filter; it isn’t a universal cover for every filter diameter. If your kit includes a 67mm filter, this is a compact accessory to keep with it, ready to attach when the filter isn’t in use.
Specialist Note
67mm is the size to match to your filter, so this cap makes sense when that’s already the filter diameter in your kit. The magnetic attachment is useful when you want to cover the back quickly between changing filters and packing up: place it on the filter rather than fiddling with a separate fastening. As a back cap, it’s especially relevant when you store a filter loose in a pouch or bag and want its rear side covered. I’d keep it with the filter so it’s on hand after use, rather than treating it as a general cover for other sizes. Its appeal is focused; you’ll need a different size for a different-diameter filter.
