Kondor Blue KB-HH-TE-BK Hollywood Handle Trigger Extension Raven Black
Kondor Blue KB-HH-TE-BK Hollywood Handle Trigger Extension Raven Black | Fire off-camera flashes from your setup
On a portrait set, you may want to fire a flash positioned away from the camera without walking over to it between adjustments. The Kondor Blue KB-HH-TE-BK Hollywood Handle Trigger Extension is a flash trigger and transmitter for that job. It’s aimed at photographers who use off-camera flash for portraits or product shots and want a trigger extension as part of a Hollywood Handle setup. Use it to fire your flash while you work on the subject or arrange the scene. Its role is specific: it transmits the trigger for the flash; it doesn’t provide the light or shape it for you. That makes it a practical piece of a flash setup, rather than a replacement for a flash or a lighting accessory. The Raven Black finish keeps the look understated in a working rig. If you’re building around a Hollywood Handle and need a trigger extension, this is the product to consider.
Specialist Note
Having to leave your setup just to fire a flash interrupts the work, and this extension is meant to keep triggering within a Hollywood Handle arrangement. The name tells you the two details that matter: it’s a handle trigger extension, and it’s a transmitter, so its job is to fire off-camera flash rather than alter the light. For a portrait, start with one off-camera flash as your key light; for a small product, use one flash and adjust its position to control the direction of the light. The Raven Black finish is a discreet choice for a rig that stays in view. It suits photographers already working with this handle-based setup. One limitation to keep in mind: it triggers the flash, but it won’t shape or soften the light for you.
