GREEN.L 43mm HMC ND Fader Variable
GREEN.L 43mm HMC ND Fader Variable | Adjust light for slower exposures
Bright daylight can force you to choose between a shutter speed that freezes movement and the slower exposure you want for flowing water or motion blur. The GREEN.L 43mm HMC ND Fader Variable is an adjustable neutral-density filter that reduces the light reaching the lens, giving you more control over exposure. It suits photographers and video makers who want to work with slower shutter speeds in bright conditions, or keep exposure under control as light changes. The benefit of a variable ND is that you can adjust the light reduction rather than work with one fixed amount. Try it when the scene is too bright for the shutter speed you want, then adjust the filter to bring exposure into range. The 43mm size is the key fit detail: it’s made for a lens with a matching 43mm filter thread.
Specialist Note
Can I adjust the light reduction on this GREEN.L 43mm filter? Yes—the variable ND design lets you change the amount of light reduction to suit the scene. For flowing water, choose a slower shutter speed for the movement you want, then adjust the filter until the exposure looks right. It can also help video makers keep their chosen shutter speed in bright light while adjusting exposure with the filter. The 43mm measurement refers to the filter thread, so match it to your lens’s thread size for a direct fit. That size is the main limitation: it won’t directly fit a lens with a different thread diameter.
