GREEN.L 67mm HMC ND Fader Variable
GREEN.L 67mm HMC ND Fader Variable | Adjust light for creative control
Without an ND filter, controlling bright light usually means changing your aperture or shutter speed; this variable filter gives you another way to manage exposure. The GREEN.L 67mm HMC ND Fader Variable is a neutral-density filter for photographers and filmmakers who want to adjust how much light reaches the camera while keeping their chosen exposure settings. Its variable fader design lets you change the ND effect as conditions or creative needs shift, rather than swapping between separate fixed-strength filters. That can be handy when you want a slower shutter speed for a sense of motion, or when you want to keep a wider aperture in bright surroundings. The 67mm size is the key fit detail: it’s intended for a lens with a matching filter thread. This is a practical option when adjustable light reduction matters more than selecting a specific fixed ND strength.
Specialist Note
Can I adjust the light reduction with this 67mm filter? Yes — the “Fader Variable” name tells you it’s designed to let you vary the ND effect rather than work at just one fixed strength. That’s useful when you’re filming and want to manage exposure without changing your framing, or when you’re after motion blur in a bright scene. The 67mm size matters at the counter: match it to a lens with a 67mm filter thread. I’d look at this for someone who wants a flexible ND option and is happy to work without a stated strength range; if you need a precisely specified reduction, a fixed-strength filter may suit that job better.
