GREEN.L 77mm HMC ND Fader Variable
GREEN.L 77mm HMC ND Fader Variable | Adjust light for longer exposures
Its variable density lets you adjust how much light reaches the camera, rather than committing to one fixed level of light reduction. The GREEN.L 77mm HMC ND Fader Variable suits photographers and video makers who want more control over exposure in bright conditions. For flowing water, reducing the light can let you choose a slower shutter speed and record a softer-looking movement. For video, it can help you keep a chosen shutter speed while working in brighter surroundings. The 77mm size is relevant to lens fit: the lens needs a matching 77mm filter thread, or an appropriate step ring. As you change the filter’s setting, check the image in your viewfinder or screen and adjust exposure as needed. That makes this a practical option when lighting changes and you want to respond without swapping between fixed-strength ND filters.
Specialist Note
The GREEN.L 77mm HMC ND Fader Variable is made for adjusting light reduction as a scene changes. Its variable ND setting gives you room to alter exposure without changing filters, which is handy when filming outdoors or slowing the shutter for a softer flow in a stream. The 77mm diameter matters at the lens: it attaches directly to a lens with a 77mm filter thread, while a different thread size calls for a suitable step ring. I’d consider it for someone who wants flexible light control from one filter. One practical limit: this size won’t directly match every lens, so the thread size determines where you can use it.
