Godox Eazyflow Foldable Beauty Dish 85 Bowens (Black Silver)

Godox Eazyflow Foldable Beauty Dish 85 Bowens (Black Silver) | A foldable beauty dish for considered portrait setups

The defining decision is the foldable design: it lets this beauty dish fold away after a shoot, rather than staying in its working shape. That’s the detail to focus on if you want a beauty dish but also care about how your kit packs down. The Godox Eazyflow is named as an 85 Bowens model, in black and silver, so its identity is clear without needing a long list of claims. It suits photographers building a portrait-lighting setup around a beauty dish and looking for a foldable format. Its most genuine appeal is straightforward: a recognisable light modifier with a design that can be folded away between sessions. I’d choose it for that practical format, not on the assumption that it creates a particular look in every setup. The result will depend on how you light and position it.

Choosing a beauty dish

A beauty dish is a specific kind of light modifier, so it makes sense when you’re intentionally choosing that form for a portrait setup. The product name also identifies the Bowens connection; that’s the mount detail to consider when planning where it belongs in your lighting kit. The “85” is part of the model name, but no unit is given here, so I wouldn’t treat it as a confirmed measurement. Likewise, black and silver describe the named version, without making any further promise about its construction or the character of the light. Those distinctions matter: if you’re comparing options, stick to what’s actually identified and think about whether the foldable format fits the way you store and use your lighting gear. There’s no need to read more into the name than it says.
