Cokin Gradual ND Kit H3HO-25 (Successor to H250A) Overview

The Cokin H3HO-25 ND Gradual Gray Filter Kit is a unique product that equips photographers with the right tools to maintain a harmonious light balance within their captures. Intended primarily for scenarios where light control over the scenery is a challenge, this kit is perfect especially for landscape photography where extreme light contrasts are common.

Under intense sunlight, a common drawback is that background details might fade while the foreground dims far too much - sadly, losing crucial details in the process. The gray filter included in this unit levels the light intensity discrepancy to result in an evenly lit scene.

The kit contains three main filters: 121L, 121M, and 121S, each designed with its own utility. The 121L filter presents a soft transition with a one-stop compensation. Meanwhile, the more malleable 121M filter offers the same gradient transition but ramps up the compensation to two stops. Finally, the 121S filter, with three-stop compensation, flaunts a three-quarters gray gradient.

Be mindful that, to attach the filter-holder to your lens, an adapter ring is required, which isn't included in the kit.
