PGYTECH DJI Mavic 2 Zoom - ND Set 3pack (128/256/1000)
PGYTECH DJI Mavic 2 Zoom - ND Set 3pack (128/256/1000) | Manage bright light in flight
Without an ND filter, bright daylight can leave you with limited room to choose your shutter speed. This PGYTECH set gives DJI Mavic 2 Zoom pilots three ND strengths—128, 256 and 1000—to help control how much light reaches the camera. It’s for people who want more say over exposure when filming outdoors, particularly when the available light changes and a single filter strength isn’t enough. Choose a lighter filtration level when the scene is less bright, then move to a stronger one as the light increases. That flexibility can help you retain a more deliberate sense of motion in video, rather than letting bright conditions dictate every exposure choice. The set is also relevant to stills when you want to manage exposure in strong light. It’s a focused accessory for the Mavic 2 Zoom, rather than a general-purpose filter set, so its value is in having three clearly named options for that drone.
Choosing between the three strengths
The numbers make it easy to distinguish the available options: ND128, ND256 and ND1000. In practical terms, start with the lower strength when you need less light reduction and consider the higher strength when the scene is brighter. The best fit depends on the light and the exposure you want; a filter can help manage exposure, but it can’t choose the look for you.
Specialist Note
“Is this set made for my Mavic 2 Zoom, and do I get a choice of strengths?” Yes: it’s named for the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom, and the three options are ND128, ND256 and ND1000. I’d think of those numbers as a practical range: use a lower strength when the light is manageable, and consider ND1000 in stronger daylight when you want more control over exposure. That makes the set suited to pilots filming outdoors who want to shape motion rather than simply accept the camera’s exposure response. It can also help with still photography in bright conditions. One honest point: the right filter still depends on the scene, so having three strengths doesn’t remove the need to adjust your exposure.
