The Praktica MTL 3 is a fully mechanical 35mm SLR camera made by Pentacon in the former East Germany (GDR). Known for its robust construction and simple, reliable design, the MTL 3 features a bright viewfinder, split-image focusing aid, and a built-in TTL light meter that operates through a needle display.

With its M42 screw mount, this camera is compatible with a wide range of vintage lenses from brands like Zeiss, Pentacon, Helios, and more. It’s a great entry point for analog photography or a solid addition to any vintage camera collection.

Camera body (SN: 971072) is in good working order. Shutter speeds fire correctly, viewfinder is clear, and meter responds to light (battery not included). Light seals may show age but are intact. Shows normal cosmetic wear with some marks from use, but no dents or damage.
