Permajet Portrait White 285 Roll 24INCHES 15m

Permajet Portrait White 285 Roll 24INCHES 15m | A defined roll format for portrait printing

Rather than picking individual sheets, this Permajet paper comes as a 24-inch-wide roll measuring 15 metres long. It’s named Portrait White 285, making it straightforward to identify when you’re choosing paper for portrait prints or keeping track of a particular paper line in your workflow. The roll format gives you a length of paper to work with, rather than a stack of separate sheets. That’s the useful point to focus on here: the named paper, the 24-inch width and the 15-metre roll. For a photographer who already knows those are the details they need, the product is easy to distinguish. I’d use the full product name when matching it to a print plan or noting it for a repeat order, so the roll size and paper name stay together.

There’s no need to read more into the title than it says. “Portrait White 285” is the product name; 24 inches and 15 metres describe the roll format. The title alone doesn’t tell you how a print will look, so I wouldn’t choose it on an assumed surface or tonal effect. Instead, compare the name and roll dimensions with the paper you’ve settled on for the job. If the decision you’re making is about roll width and length, those numbers are the practical details to carry forward. If it’s about the appearance of the finished print, you’ll want to base that choice on information beyond the name. It’s a simple distinction, but it helps keep the decision grounded in what this product is actually identified as.
