Wooden Camera A00832 Top Plate Extension Block For URSA Cine 12K/17K
Wooden Camera A00832 Top Plate Extension Block For URSA Cine 12K/17K | A dedicated extension for URSA Cine top-plate builds
When a URSA Cine camera is being set up for tripod work and the top plate needs an extension, this is the part to consider. The Wooden Camera A00832 is a top plate extension block, listed as a tripod accessory and named for the URSA Cine 12K/17K. Its role is clear: it belongs in a camera-specific rig plan where extending the top plate is the requirement, rather than being a general-purpose tripod component. It will interest owners and crew building around either of those URSA Cine models, particularly when selecting parts by their intended camera system matters. The product name also keeps expectations grounded: this is an extension block, not a tripod or a complete support setup. If your task is to extend the top plate on a URSA Cine 12K/17K build, the A00832 is a focused accessory to consider.
Specialist Note
The awkward part of choosing a small rig component is making sure it has a clear job in the build. The A00832 is specifically a top plate extension block, and its stated application is URSA Cine 12K/17K; I’d keep those details together when planning a tripod-based rig. If you’re building around a URSA Cine 12K, or the 17K, this is the part to consider when the top plate needs extending: choose it for that task, then treat it as one component in the wider tripod setup. I like that the name is so specific. It also sets a sensible boundary: I wouldn’t recommend it as a general-purpose accessory for unrelated camera systems.
