Sirui Ironstar T1.9 1.5X Anamorphic FullFrame Cine Lenses 45mm (Neutral Flare) | Anamorphic scope for cinematic frames

Give your finished frames a wider, cinematic feel while keeping the familiar perspective of a 45mm lens. The Sirui Ironstar T1.9 1.5X Anamorphic is an interchangeable cine lens for filmmakers who want anamorphic images with a 1.5× squeeze and a neutral flare character. It’s suited to narrative filmmaking, music videos and other video work where the frame’s horizontal feel is part of the visual language. On a full-frame setup, the 45mm focal length can work well for dialogue and scene-setting shots, while the anamorphic design expands the horizontal view in the finished image. This is a manual-focus lens, so it rewards planned focus work rather than quick point-and-shoot operation. It’s best for productions where you can compose with the anamorphic look in mind and handle the image’s squeeze in post.

Specialist Note

A common first-time anamorphic mistake is judging the squeezed image as if that’s the final composition. With this 1.5× lens, plan your framing for the wider image after desqueezing, and leave room at the sides for the composition you actually want. I’d consider it for a dialogue scene or a music-video portrait: use T1.9 when you want to work with less light, and take time to pull focus carefully, since focus is manual. Its full-frame format makes it a fit for full-frame filmmaking setups. It suits filmmakers who can control their focus and post workflow; for fast, casual run-and-gun filming, manual focus asks for more attention.
