SanDisk SSD Extreme Portable SSD 1050MB/s 1TB Sky Blue

SanDisk SSD Extreme Portable SSD 1050MB/s 1TB Sky Blue | Keep your files close

For taking photos and other files with you, a portable drive gives you a separate place to keep a working collection close at hand. The SanDisk SSD Extreme Portable SSD offers 1TB of storage and a stated speed of 1050MB/s, in a blue finish. That makes it a straightforward option when you want external storage with a clear capacity and speed figure to compare. It suits photographers who want to carry files between locations, as well as anyone who prefers to keep some digital storage separate from their computer. The useful part is the balance of a substantial amount of space and a number you can use when weighing up options. One honest detail: the product name supplies that speed figure, but doesn’t say which kind of speed it describes, so I wouldn’t read more into it than the stated number.

Made for portable storage

A separate drive can help keep a set of files together rather than spread across different folders or devices. That can be handy when you’re sorting photos after a shoot, making room for a new batch of images, or bringing selected files with you to work elsewhere. The portable format is the point here: it’s intended to travel, not sit in a desktop drive bay. How you use it will depend on your own file workflow, but the capacity gives you a simple starting point for deciding what you want to store on it. If you tend to keep only a small selection close by, you can use it that way; if you prefer a larger working collection, the same drive can serve as a dedicated place for those files. It’s a practical, uncomplicated storage option, with the key figures easy to see at a glance.
