Wooden Camera A00345 Carry Handle Cheese Plate For Sony FX3/FX30

Wooden Camera A00345 Carry Handle Cheese Plate For Sony FX3/FX30 | A more practical camera rig to carry

This combines a carry handle and cheese plate in an accessory made for the Sony FX3 and FX30. It suits filmmakers who want a more manageable camera setup for documentary work, commercial production or other filmmaking projects. The handle gives you a dedicated place to hold and move the camera rig; the cheese plate makes this a rigging component rather than an imaging accessory. That distinction matters: it helps with handling and setup, not with the camera’s picture or sound. If your work involves moving between takes or carrying the camera as part of a working rig, this accessory has a clear purpose. Its named compatibility also makes it straightforward to consider for an FX3 or FX30 build. It’s a focused piece of kit for those cameras, not a general-purpose camera upgrade.

Where it fits in a production setup

For documentary filming, a carry handle can make it easier to pick up and reposition a camera rig as the scene changes. In commercial production, the handle and cheese plate suit a setup built around the FX3 or FX30, where handling and rig configuration are part of the working routine. It’s a practical accessory for the camera package, rather than something that changes the footage itself.
