7Artisans Infinte 135mm T2.1 FullFrame DE-Clicked PL Mount | Controlled telephoto shots for filmmaking

7Artisans Infinte 135mm T2.1 FullFrame DE-Clicked PL Mount is a 135mm short telephoto prime built for filmmakers who want precise framing and manual control. Its PL mount and Full Frame coverage make it a lens for video production setups using that mount and sensor format. The long focal length narrows the view, helping you isolate a subject or frame details without including as much of the surroundings. With manual focus, it suits deliberate shots where focus can be set or pulled by hand. Use it for dialogue, portraits within a film, or distant details that call for a tighter composition. This is a specialist filmmaking lens rather than an everyday general-purpose option: the 18° angle of view means you’ll need room to frame your subject, and careful focus matters at this focal length.

Specialist Note

For filmmakers shaping dialogue scenes, tight portraits or small details within a larger setting, this 135mm gives you a distinctly narrow view to work with. I’d use it to hold a close composition while keeping the camera position fixed; leave enough space to frame, since its 18° angle of view is tight. The de-clicked aperture is useful when exposure needs a smooth adjustment during a take, rather than a stepped change. At T2.1, you have a bright maximum aperture to work with in dimmer scenes. Manual focus makes it suited to planned focus pulls, though it asks for a steady hand and deliberate marks.
