Accsoon Toprig S40 Video Slide

Accsoon Toprig S40 Video Slide - 22.5 cm of camera travel

Controlled camera movement brings a sense of motion to a video shot, from a measured push-in to a slow pass across a subject. The Accsoon Toprig S40 Video Slide is a motorised camera slider with adjustable movement from 0.1 to 5 cm per second, so you can set the pace to suit the shot. It’s made for filmmakers who want repeatable, smooth movement without relying on a hand-pushed camera. Use it for a gentle move across a scene, a close pass over a small subject, or footage with a tele or macro probe lens; the S40 is listed as compatible with both lens types. Its compact, robust design has separate load ratings for horizontal and vertical use, giving you useful flexibility in how you set up a shot. Speed is adjusted with the slider’s control knob, and the S40 can also be controlled through an app. That choice of controls is useful when you want to make a direct adjustment at the slider or operate it remotely through the app. The available travel is 22.5 cm: a short, deliberate movement rather than a long tracking run. For tabletop details and controlled camera moves, that defined range is the point.

Movement and Control

• Adjustable movement speed: The S40 moves at settings from 0.1 to 5 cm per second. That range covers very slow camera motion as well as a quicker pass, with the speed selected to match the pacing you want in the shot.
• On-slider speed control: A control knob adjusts the slider’s speed. The setting is right on the unit, so you can make a direct change at the slider instead of relying only on app control.
• App control: The S40 can also be controlled through an app. This gives you an alternative to the physical knob when you prefer to manage the slider through the app.
• Horizontal load rating of 4 kg: For horizontal operation, the stated maximum load is 4 kg. Keep this figure in mind when assessing the combined weight of the camera setup you plan to move on the slider.
• Vertical load rating of 2.5 kg: The stated maximum for vertical operation is 2.5 kg. This separate rating matters when planning a camera move on an incline; the vertical limit is lower than the horizontal one.
• 22.5 cm of travel: The slider’s movement range is 22.5 cm. That measured distance is suited to short, controlled moves, including a close framing shift where a longer track would be unnecessary.
• Tele and macro probe lens compatibility: Accsoon lists the S40 as compatible with tele lenses and macro probe lenses. That makes it relevant for both tightly framed footage and close-up detail work.
