ACT 100 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male

ACT 100 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male | A long HDMI run in one cable

The defining choice here is an active optical design: this HDMI cable is made for a much longer run than a short link between nearby devices. Its stated length is 100 meters, so it suits setups where the source and screen need to be far apart and running a standard short cable simply won’t reach. The title also identifies it as Premium High Speed, HDMI V2.0 and 4K, with an HDMI-A male connector. That makes it a focused option for a long HDMI connection in a 4K setup, rather than a general-purpose collection of adapters or leads. The length is the main reason to consider it; for a short desk or cabinet connection, it’s more cable than you need.

Planning a long cable route

Before choosing a cable for a fixed installation, measure the route it needs to follow—not just the straight-line distance between the two devices. Allow for the path around furniture, walls or other obstacles, and decide where the cable will enter and leave the setup. That gives you a more realistic idea of the length you need. This model is specified at 100 meters, so it’s intended for installations where a long route is the point. Its HDMI-A male connector is also worth matching to the connection you plan to use. Those details make the product easier to assess on paper, before you commit to routing a long cable through a room or installation.
