ACT 20 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male

ACT 20 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male | Long HDMI reach for 4K setups

Keep a display and its HDMI source farther apart with a 20-metre cable run. The ACT 20 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male is for setups where a short lead won’t reach comfortably, such as a room with equipment placed away from the screen. Its name gives you the key details up front: a 20-metre length, active optical cable construction, HDMI 2.0 and a 4K designation. The connector specified is HDMI-A male. That makes it easier to compare the cable with the connection your setup calls for before you plan the route. One honest point: a cable’s label can’t tell you how a particular combination of devices will behave, so treat the stated 4K class as the product description, not a promise about every setup. If distance is your main concern, this is the ACT cable to consider.

Planning your cable run

With a long cable, it helps to plan the route before placing your equipment. Measure along the path the cable will actually follow, rather than relying only on the straight-line distance between the two points. That gives you a more useful estimate of the length you need. Then compare the HDMI-A male connector with the connection required at the point where the cable will be used. The product title identifies that connector, but doesn’t identify the equipment at either end, so the fit depends on your setup. The title also names HDMI 2.0 and Premium High Speed; these are useful details to compare against the requirements for your intended installation. The practical appeal here is specific: a 20-metre HDMI cable with an active optical design, for a run where that length matters.
