ACT 25m HDMI Premium 8K Hybrid Cable HDMI-A Male - HDMI-A

ACT 25m HDMI Premium 8K Hybrid Cable HDMI-A Male - HDMI-A | A long HDMI run with 25 metres to work with

When the screen and the equipment feeding it need to sit well apart, a short lead can make the layout awkward. This ACT cable gives you 25 metres of HDMI cable to plan that run, with an HDMI-A male connector at one end and HDMI-A at the other. It’s named as a Premium 8K Hybrid Cable, so the 8K designation is part of the product description; the title doesn’t give further detail about its performance. The length is the defining practical point here. It suits a setup where the cable has to travel between separated positions, rather than a simple connection with both devices side by side. For a studio, presentation space or fixed AV installation, that extra reach can make it easier to place equipment where it belongs. Before you settle on a route, measure the path the cable will actually follow, including the distance around furniture or along a wall.

A 25-metre cable calls for a little more planning than a lead laid across a desk. Think through where the cable will run and where each end needs to reach; that’s a more useful starting point than measuring only the gap between the devices. The connector information gives you HDMI-A at each end, with one end specifically identified as male. Match those connections to the sockets in your setup.

The title also identifies this as a hybrid cable, but doesn’t explain its construction, so there’s no reason to assume what that means for a particular installation. What you can choose on the information available is clear: an ACT HDMI cable, 25 metres long, with a Premium 8K designation. If your planned run needs that length and the stated HDMI-A connections suit your equipment, those are the details to base your decision on.
