ACT 30 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male

ACT 30 Meters HDMI Premium High Speed 4K Active Optical Cable V2.0 HDMI-A Male | A long HDMI run for 4K setups

When your source and screen need to sit far apart, a short HDMI lead can make the layout awkward. This ACT cable gives you a 30-metre run, with an active optical design and HDMI 2.0 specification. It’s intended for 4K HDMI connections, and has an HDMI-A male connector. That makes it a cable to consider for a room, workspace or installation where the equipment can’t sit next to the display. The useful detail here is the combination of reach and format: you get a long cable described as Premium High Speed, rather than having to plan the whole setup around a nearby source. Long cable runs do take a little planning, though. Measure the route you’ll actually use before settling on where the equipment goes.

Plan the cable route

For a run across a room or through an installation, measure along the intended path rather than estimating the straight-line distance between the two devices. Include the route around furniture, along walls or through cable guides, and leave enough room at each end to connect the equipment without pulling the cable taut. It’s also worth deciding where the source and screen will sit before routing the cable; changing that plan afterwards can make a long run harder to manage. Keep the route clear of places where people might catch or tug the cable. Those small checks help you make sensible use of the available length and keep the setup tidy.
