ACT 3m High Performance VGA Extension Cable Male-Female

ACT 3m High Performance VGA Extension Cable Male-Female | Add reach to a VGA run

ACT 3m High Performance VGA Extension Cable Male-Female adds three metres to a VGA connection, with a male-to-female design. It’s for anyone whose existing VGA cable needs to reach farther, without changing to a different connection type. The extension format is the point: it gives you extra length for a VGA run, and the connector arrangement is stated plainly in the name. That can help when a VGA-connected screen or other equipment needs to sit farther from where the current cable ends. “High Performance” is part of the product name; the practical question is whether the three-metre length and male/female arrangement suit your setup. Measure along the route the cable needs to take, rather than only measuring between the two endpoints. That gives you a more useful sense of whether this extension will provide enough reach.

Planning the cable run

For a desk or equipment area, start by finding where your existing VGA cable ends and where it needs to reach. If the route goes around furniture or follows a wall, include that path in your measurement. A straight line between the endpoints may be shorter than the route you’ll actually use. It’s also worth thinking about where the extra length will sit once connected: a cable that reaches the destination but leaves excess length in the way can make for a messier setup. This is a simple accessory with a specific job. It adds length to a VGA connection; it doesn’t change the connection type. The useful check is therefore the cable route and the male-to-female arrangement, not a list of features. If those fit your setup, the three-metre extension gives you a clear amount of extra reach to plan around.
