ACT 40 Meters 8K DP 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 LSZH Active Optical Cable (AOC)

ACT 40 Meters 8K DP 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 LSZH Active Optical Cable (AOC) | 8K DisplayPort over a long run

Send a DisplayPort connection across a long route with the ACT 40 Meters 8K DP 2.1 DP40 UHBR10 LSZH Active Optical Cable (AOC). Its title specifies a 40-metre active optical cable for an 8K DP 2.1 link, with DP40, UHBR10 and LSZH also named. That makes it relevant when the screen and source need to be positioned well apart, and you want the cable’s stated format and length to match the job. The practical benefit is the reach: you can plan a longer cable route rather than keeping the connected equipment close together. It’s a specialist length, though, and for a nearby screen it may be more cable than you need. Choose it when a 40-metre run is the point; the product name gives a clear set of terms to compare against your installation requirements.

Choosing it for your setup

For a long DisplayPort run, start by thinking about the route between the source and screen. This model is named for a 40-metre length, so it suits a setup where that reach matters more than a short, tidy connection between devices on the same desk. The 8K and DP 2.1 wording tells you the link category the cable is presented for; DP40 and UHBR10 are further identifiers in its name. LSZH is included there too. Those labels make the cable’s stated purpose specific, but the title alone doesn’t establish which devices or connector ends it will suit. Use the exact product name when matching it to your planned connection, rather than assuming from the length alone.
