Aquapix W3027 Wave Iceblue

Aquapix W3027 Wave Iceblue | Waterproof photos for shallow-water adventures

Aquapix’s sealed body keeps the W3027 Wave Iceblue waterproof to 3 metres, so you can take it into shallow water without a separate underwater housing. This 5-megapixel compact camera is aimed at travel, family moments and everyday photos, without the extra lenses of a larger camera system. Its slim form is easy to tuck into a small bag for a beach day or city break. Take it poolside for family pictures, use it for snorkelling scenes within its depth rating, or keep it close for holiday snapshots around town. Water protection is what sets this little camera apart from an ordinary pocket compact. It also records Full HD video at 1920 × 1080, so short clips can sit alongside your still photos. For simple point-and-shoot use above or below the surface, the W3027 Wave Iceblue brings both settings together in one compact camera.

Inside the camera

• Face detection: The camera can detect faces, a useful feature for family portraits and group snapshots.
• Anti-shake function: This is available to help reduce the effect of camera movement in your pictures.
• White balance: A dedicated white-balance function lets you adjust how colours are rendered for different lighting.
• Still-image options: The camera offers resolutions up to 30 megapixels, with the higher settings interpolated from its 5-megapixel sensor.
• MicroSD storage: It accepts U3 microSD cards up to 128GB. A memory card isn’t included.
• USB Type-C connection: Use the camera’s USB interface when connecting it to transfer files.

In the hand

At 105 × 63 × 24 mm, the W3027 is compact enough for a small day bag. Its 6.8 cm (2.7-inch) display is where you compose and review your shots, keeping framing simple when you’re using the camera above or below the surface.
