Avenger Extension Arm w/ Swivel Pin

Avenger Extension Arm w/ Swivel Pin | Position a light beyond its support

A light can be easier to place when its position isn’t limited to the stand or clamp beneath it. The Avenger Extension Arm w/ Swivel Pin is an accessory for lamp stand and clamp setups, giving you an extension arm with a swivel pin for positioning a light away from its support. It suits photographers and lighting crews who need to adjust where a light sits within a setup, rather than relying only on a position directly above the stand. The swivel pin is the detail to consider when you want an arm that can pivot as part of your arrangement. Its role is straightforward: extend the placement of a light and give you a joint to work with. There’s no need to overcomplicate it; this is a practical accessory for shaping a lighting setup around the subject and available space.

In a lighting setup

Think of this arm when the stand itself is in the right place, but the light needs to sit further out from it. That separation can help you work around the space you have or position the light where the scene calls for it. The swivel pin gives you another point to adjust while arranging the setup, so the arm is relevant when a fixed, straight placement isn’t quite right. It’s a focused piece of kit, rather than a light or a stand on its own. Use the product name as a guide to its job: an extension arm with a swivel pin, intended for lamp stand and clamp use. For a lighting kit built around those accessories, it offers a simple way to change the reach and orientation of a light’s position. The honest point is that its usefulness depends on the placement you’re trying to achieve; it’s there to help with positioning, not to do the lighting work for you.
