B&W Outdoor.cases Type 1000 Black / Empty
B&W Outdoor.cases Type 1000 Black / Empty | Hard-case protection for transport
Your camera gear has a sturdy case around it for the journey or a spell in storage. The B&W Outdoor.cases Type 1000 is an empty hard case for photographers who want to organise and carry their own equipment, especially when knocks, dust or rain are a concern. Its hard-case construction gives gear a protective outer shell; the empty interior lets you decide how to arrange what goes inside. That makes it a practical option for keeping selected equipment together at home, or taking it along when you need more than a soft bag. It comes in black and is identified as Type 1000. There’s no supplied gear arrangement to work around, so you can set up the space to suit your kit. Just bear in mind that the case is empty: how well your equipment is protected inside depends on how you pack it.
Set it up around your gear
With an empty case, you choose what travels together and how the contents are arranged. That’s useful when your kit changes between jobs, or when you want a dedicated place to store a particular set of equipment. Pack items so they don’t shift and knock against one another in transit. For home storage, keeping related gear together can also make it easier to pick up the case and take what you need. The black finish keeps the look simple, while the hard-case format is suited to situations where a soft bag may not offer the protection you want.
Specialist Note
1000 is the Type number; in practice, you’re choosing this particular empty case and arranging the inside around your own kit. I’d consider it for storing camera equipment at home or carrying selected gear in a vehicle, with the hard case providing a firm outer barrier against everyday knocks. Pack carefully so the contents don’t rattle against each other; the case’s protection won’t replace thoughtful packing inside. Its black finish is understated, and the empty format gives you flexibility if the equipment you want to keep together changes. It suits someone who values a protective case but wants to decide the layout themselves.
