B&W Outdoor.cases Type 200 Black / Transparant
B&W Outdoor.cases Type 200 Black / Transparant | A hard case for protected storage and transport
The hard-case format is what sets the B&W Outdoor.cases Type 200 apart from a soft camera bag: it’s intended for carrying and storing gear when knocks, dust or rain are a concern. It suits photographers who need a more protective place for equipment between shoots, or while moving it from one location to another. Use it to keep camera gear enclosed during transport, then keep it stored in the case when it’s not in use. The supplier lists the colour as black; “Transparant” is part of the product name, rather than a detail I’d assume describes the whole case. This is a practical option when protection matters more than having a bag ready for quick access while shooting. It’s best thought of as a transport and storage case, not as a hands-free camera bag for working on location.
A considered place for your gear
Think of the Type 200 as a dedicated place to keep the equipment you want protected when it’s not in active use. At home, store gear in the case between outings; when travelling, use it to carry that gear with less exposure to everyday knocks, dust and rain. That makes it especially relevant if your equipment spends time in transit or needs a more protective storage option than a soft bag. Keep your use focused on those jobs: the product information describes a hard case, without details about its internal layout or how quickly it opens for access.
Specialist Note
“200” is the model reference you’ll use to identify this case; in practice, the important point is that it’s a hard case for carrying or storing camera gear. I’d suggest it to someone who wants equipment kept in a protective enclosure between shoots, or while travelling with it. Put the gear you want protected in the case before setting off, and use it as its storage place again at home. The black colour gives it a straightforward, understated look. One honest consideration: this is geared toward protection and storage, so it won’t offer the quick, open access of a bag designed for shooting on the move.
